What a record breaking day for NYFA today at Summer Nationals! 4 medals in one shot!
Our younger fencers made us super proud! Most of them lost to our own clubmates – otherwise would do even better!
Sasha Rakhovski – only one touch short of National Championship title! Amazing result Sasha!
David Dodin got bronze medal and it’s only your first year of Y10!
Ethan Zaydman earned his first national medal – Ethan started super strong and was first after pools and showed his best and consistent fencing – 5th place – congrats!
Landon Shchur – also first National medal and great fighting – impressive come back in a bout for top 8!
Dylan Kats – only one touch away from top 8! Proud of you controlling bout much better and moving the right direction!
Nicholas Iarikov – top 16 – best personal result! Great job in pools – winning all your priority bouts!
Julian Brodsky – top 16 – best personal result! Consistent and confident fencing – congrats!
Finn Chimoskey – 17th place! Flawless pool result and unfortunately had to fence NYFA fencer for top 16 but i’m confident you would make even better result if had different bracket!
Kovalchuk Erika and Evelyn Agaon – top 32!

So the youth age group is over for Skyler Liverant – he finished it with 2 medals at Summer Nationals 2019 – top 8 cadets and Y14! Skyler earned impressive 17 National Medals overall during his youth career!!! Finished it as #1 ranked athlete in Cadets and Y14! And he was #1 ranked athlete at the end of every age group starting Y10!
