New York Fencing Academy was founded in 2010 in Coney Island, Brooklyn as a center for excellence in epee. Today, NYFA has one of the strongest competitive programs in the country, ranked #1 nationally in youth categories by Fencing Tracker and named Fencing Club of the Year by National Club Rankings. In 2018, NYFA expanded to Port Washington, bringing its successful training program to the Long Island fencing community.
